Welcome to Philip Poole's website. Philip is an IFMGA International Mountain Guide and a member of the British Mountain Guides (BMG).

Philip has been guiding for over 20 years and offers a wide range of guiding services including:

• Canyoning in France and Spain
• Lake District rock climbing courses
• Ice climbing in Rjukan Norway
• Alpine ski tours and climbing
• First ascents of summits in East Greenland, and expeditions to climb Gunnbjørnsfjeld, Dome and Cone (Watkins Mountains range) the highest mountains in the Arctic Circle

Philip is also qualified in many other sports such as skiing (BASI), caving (LCLA) Kayaking (BCU Level 4). He also holds a NEBOSH qualification in Health and Safety and acts as Technical Expert for a number of organisations.

He has provided film safety and technical support for a number of film companies producing films for Universal Studios and TV programmes for the BBC.
